Extended Operations is the free DLC for 007 First Light, released on Oct 1, 2026 as update 1.3.0 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Everyone who owns the game gets it with the update; nothing is bought. It added New Game Plus, the 00 Difficulty, Photo Mode, two new TacSim modes (the Valhalla Protocol and Jungle Heist), five TacSim unlocks, Jack the Bulldog and, in IOI's count, "over 700 fixes and improvements". It is not a story expansion: it adds no new campaign missions. As of Nov 4, 2026, 007 First Light has no paid DLC; the only paid add-on on the stores is the Deluxe Edition Upgrade.

IOI called it a "content-packed free DLC" that "delivers on some of the most requested additions". New Game+ is the clearest case: at launch there was none, and the Year One Roadmap of Jun 5, 2026 only said it was "being explored".

What is in Extended Operations?

New Game+. Finish the campaign on any difficulty and you can replay it from the start or from any completed checkpoint, keeping your unlocked outfits and gadgets. Mission Warderobe (IOI's spelling) changes outfits from the journal mid-playthrough, and Gadget on Demand swaps gadgets at any point in a mission. The details are on New Game Plus.

00 difficulty. The hardest way to play, unlocked by finishing the campaign. Enemies spot Bond faster and hit harder, resources restore only part of a gadget's use, gadgets cannot be used in a guard's line of sight, and combat has two-hit kills with tighter parry and side-step timing. See 00 Difficulty.

Photo Mode. Freezes the game from the Pause menu or a bound button, with camera, lighting, filter and pose tools. IOI posted its guide on Oct 4, 2026; see Photo Mode.

Valhalla Protocol. Four TacSim driving missions in the Slovakian mountains, by day and by night, in an Aston Martin Valhalla with machine guns and missile launchers. It shipped with 1.3.0 but became playable on Oct 5, 2026. See Valhalla Protocol.

Jungle Heist. A TacSim Operation back at The Pearl in Vietnam: take classified documents from a guarded villa, with nine challenges that reward Intel and XP. See Jungle Heist.

The full arsenal in TacSim. IOI says the main campaign's whole arsenal is now usable in TacSim missions.

New weapons and outfits

All five are TacSim unlocks, bought with Intel once you reach the Clearance Level.

Item Type Clearance Level Intel
Storm 12 Gauge Weapon 20 6,000
Squire Marksman Rifle Weapon 18 4,000
"Observant Spy" Outfit 19 0
"Leasure Beam" (IOI's spelling) Outfit 15 0
"First Class" Outfit 15 0

Two time-limited outfits ran alongside the update: "The Grey Standard" for linking an IOI Account by Nov 1, 2026, and the "One More" Twitch Drop from Oct 1 to Oct 16, 2026. Hotfix 1.3.2 later renamed the IOI Account outfit "Heritage Tailoring" and made a new "The Grey Standard" a TacSim unlock; Outfits and Unlocks has the whole story.

Jack the Bulldog and other changes

Jack the Bulldog is a new MI6 resident beside Dr. Selina Tan's TacSim area, and Bond can pet him. IOI made him a TacSim lobby companion for every player after the game passed 7 million wishlists (Oct 7, 2026).

The update also made reloads, aim transitions and weapon swaps smoother, and let enemies throw Bond off ledges, as he already could do to them. On Xbox Series S it added a 60 fps performance mode (PS5 and Xbox Performance Modes), and on PC, FSR Frame Generation for AMD cards (PC Performance and Path Tracing).

What did the 700 fixes cover?

IOI groups them as crashes, progression blockers, clipping, audio, localization and menu polish. Among them: the PS5 Platinum trophy and "For Your Eyes Only" problems, and an exploit that gained Focus too easily. The full list is in IOI's notes, and the later hotfixes are on Patch Notes and Updates.

Is there paid DLC for 007 First Light?

No. As of Nov 4, 2026 no paid DLC has been released or priced, and the stores sell only the Deluxe Edition Upgrade (four outfits, four gadget skins and a weapon skin; see Editions and Prices). IOI's Aug 20, 2026 post promised more Year One content, including new intelligence on Webb Industries and a mission after an "unexpected alliance between MI6 and Pirate King Bawma", without naming a price or date. Whether that will be free, like Extended Operations, is not known. See Year One Roadmap.
