As of Nov 4, 2026 the game is on sale: the Standard Edition is $41.99 on Xbox and the Deluxe Edition $47.99 on Steam, both 40% off. Every edition plays the same game; the extras are outfits, skins and things for a shelf.

IOI itself names four editions, "Standard, Deluxe, Collector's, and Legacy"; the physical Specialist Edition, sold at retail, is not on that list. The physical editions include the Deluxe items but not the early access that digital pre-orders had.

What is in the Deluxe Edition?

The Deluxe content, sold on its own as the Deluxe Upgrade ($19.99 on Xbox, $11.99 on sale as of Nov 4, 2026), is cosmetic:

• Four outfits: Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor and Gentleman Operator.
• The Agent's Mark weapon skin.
• The Gleaming Pack of four gold-finished gadget skins: the Gleaming Lighter, Gleaming Earphones, Gleaming Pen and a fourth that Insider Gaming and IOI call the Gleaming Dart Gun and the Microsoft Store lists as the Gleaming Phone. It is the skin for the Dart Phone gadget either way.

Steam sums it up as "4 outfits, 4 gadget skins, and a weapon skin". None of it changes how Bond plays; the outfits can be worn in missions, as Outfits and Unlocks explains, and the gadgets themselves are on Gadgets.

Is 007 First Light on sale?

Yes, as of Nov 4, 2026. On the US Xbox store the Standard Edition is $41.99, 40% off $69.99, and the Deluxe Upgrade $11.99. On Steam the Deluxe Edition is $47.99, 40% off $79.99, which makes it cheaper than the Standard Edition there, still $69.99; Steam's page gave the offer's end as Nov 9, 2026. PlayStation Store prices were not checked for this page. Sale prices change often: check the store before buying. The game is not on Game Pass or PlayStation Plus (Platforms and Game Pass).

What were the pre-order bonuses?

1:16 Pre-ordering any digital edition before launch included the Deluxe Upgrade and 24-hour early access from May 26, 2026, so a pre-ordered Standard Edition was in effect a Deluxe Edition. Physical pre-orders got the Deluxe items without early access. Pre-orders closed with the release on May 27 (Release Date and Times).

Switch 2 editions

0:29 The Nintendo Switch 2 version, out Mar 18, 2027, is sold as a Deluxe Edition at $69.99, €69.99 or £69.99, with a GoldenEye Suit, the four Gleaming gadget skins and the four Deluxe outfits. Pre-ordering it gives early access to the GoldenEye Suit at launch. A Switch 2 Special Edition with the Classic Tuxedo is sold only through Amazon.com in the US. All the content added since launch has been free, the Extended Operations DLC included. As of Nov 4, 2026 the only paid add-on on the stores is the Deluxe Upgrade.
