007 First Light is on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store, and comes to Nintendo Switch 2 on Mar 18, 2027. It is not on Game Pass or PlayStation Plus (Shacknews, May 26, 2026), and the Microsoft Store page shows no Game Pass offer as of Nov 4, 2026: you buy it. On the Microsoft Store it is an Xbox Play Anywhere game, so one purchase covers Xbox and Windows. It is single-player, with an online TacSim mode on the side.

Which platforms is 007 First Light on?

IOI's patch notes list five builds: PlayStation 5, Steam, Xbox Series, Microsoft PC (the Microsoft Store) and the Epic Games Store. Each gets its own download size in every update, and the Microsoft Store PC build was for a time far larger to patch than the others: 46.79 GB for the first hotfix against 294.6 MB on Steam, until IOI cut the sizes in 1.0.5 (Patch Notes and Updates). There is no PS4, Xbox One or Mac version, and Steam lists Windows only.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version, once due on the same day as the rest, comes on Mar 18, 2027 with handheld and docked play; its delays and editions are on Nintendo Switch 2 Version. The PC's hardware needs are on PC System Requirements, and what each console runs at is on PS5 and Xbox Performance Modes.

Is 007 First Light on Game Pass?

No. 007 First Light did not launch on Game Pass, Shacknews reported on May 26, 2026, and the Microsoft Store page carries no Game Pass offer as of Nov 4, 2026.

One loose thread: the notes for update 1.3.0 (Oct 1, 2026) list a fix for a "PC Game Pass" issue. Neither IOI nor Microsoft has announced the game for PC Game Pass, and the line is unexplained; read it as no more than a line in patch notes until one of them says otherwise.

Is 007 First Light on PS Plus?

No. No announcement of 007 First Light joining PlayStation Plus, in the Game Catalog or as a monthly game, has been found as of Nov 4, 2026. PS Plus is not needed to play the campaign; whether TacSim's online features need it on PS5 is not stated in the sources read.

Is 007 First Light on Epic and Steam Deck?

19:12 Yes to both. The Epic Games Store sells it and gets the same updates as Steam. On Steam Deck it has been Verified since Jul 27, 2026, two months after launch. Before that, Mortismal Gaming's May 29, 2026 review found it ran "pretty good" on the Deck, at "a solid 30 to 50 FPS" most of the time on low settings. PC players without the hardware for its path tracing can stream it with GeForce NOW Ultimate, IOI said on Aug 25, 2026.

Cross-save, Play Anywhere and Steam Cloud

On the Microsoft Store, 007 First Light is listed with Xbox Play Anywhere, so buying it there gives it on both Xbox and Windows. Steam lists Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. IOI has not announced cross-save between PlayStation, Xbox and PC, and none is known as of Nov 4, 2026. TacSim challenge progress may follow the IOI Account, GamingBolt reported before launch, and leaderboards are per platform.

Can you play 007 First Light offline?

6:56 The campaign plays offline once the day-one patch is downloaded (GamingBolt). TacSim's challenges, leaderboards and unlocks need a connection, which COGconnected compared to Hitman's always-online extras. In June the offline campaign broke once: update 1.0.4 left the game unplayable offline on every platform and was withdrawn, and 1.0.5 on Jun 15, 2026 restored offline play.

Linking the game to a free IOI Account is optional; it gave an outfit until Nov 1, 2026 (Editions and Prices). Since Hotfix 1.3.2 the outfit once tied to it is earned in TacSim without an account.

The ESRB lists the "In-Game Purchases" notice although, as of Nov 4, 2026, the only thing sold in the game is the Deluxe Upgrade. The Microsoft Store shows a 16+ rating with "Intense violence", its regional board's.

Languages

Steam lists 14 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish. Steam marks English as the one with full audio; the others have text. The Xbox store also lists 14 languages and 10 accessibility features, which are on Accessibility.
