The Golden Joysticks are voted on by the public across 21 categories; voting closed at midnight BST on Friday, Oct 23, 2026, and the shortlist for the top prize, Ultimate Game of the Year, was published separately on Oct 26. Whether that shortlist is the sixth nomination is not confirmed in the sources read for this page. The ceremony is on Nov 11, 2026 in central London and streamed worldwide.
